The meeting; was turned over to Marion
Godkin, first vice-president, who opened the
segment with a poem. Mrs. McDonald
assisted Mrs. Godltin by reading the
minutes, and a thankyou card from Mildred
Traviss.
The secretary reported that a very suc-
cessful garage and bake sale was held last
Saturday. The unit made almost $50Q,,:
Articles were read from the resource cen-
tre, the closing date is June 22 and orders
areto be in before that date.
Someone is needed to type the Sunday
Church bulletin. If you would like to do it,
please contact Rev. Swan.

Presentations of the awards for the Sun-
day School were made during the morning
service at Duff's United Church; The
children presented a few choruses which
were accompanied by Gloria Wilbee with
her guitar.

CLINTON Brbwnies, Guides and
Pathfinders have come to. the end of another
year.
The Brownie packs had parties and the
Guides went to Canada's Wonderland the
first part of June.
The parent and daughter banquet was
held on June 12 at the Legion. The fathers
did the serving and did a great job.

The Legion was presented with a certificate

years. Keith Tyndall was also presented
with a certificate of appreciation for his help
during the year.
For the sumrder 22 girls from the district
are going to Camp Keewaydin.
The Guiding Movement would like to
thank everyone for their support. Next year
-Guiding is celebrating 7 years. Look for the
events to happen in the community.
