HOLMESVILLE - Worship Service at
Holmesville United Church was well attend-
ed to hear the U.C.W. ladies choir. Flowers
in the Sanctuary were placed in memory of
the late Mrs. .Jantzi. Rev. Bechtel spoke to
the children about. pain leaves and trees.
Tom Lobb and Harold Jantzi received the
offering.
This Sunday the Sunday School will hold
the. Sunrise Service and walk up the hill,
with a service at 7:30 A.M. Everyone is
welcome to attend. Breakfast will follow in
the church hall, followed by the regular
church service.
The Enterprising Seniors' will meet at the
Community Centre on Thursday at 8 p.m.
Allison Lobb will be there to take a picture
of the seniors.
Michelle Turner, a Grade 6 student of Huron Centennial Public School came third in the
physical class at the regional Science Fair held at Seaforth Public School last week. Her
project demonstrated which pencil from 10 different kinds sharpened, wrote and erased

Sympathy goes out to Harold Jantzi and
family on the loss of Harold's mother.
The U.C.W. of Holmesville United Church
held their Annual Thankoffering meeting
Tuesday evening in the church hall with a
good turn out. President Isabel Harris
welcomed everyone: The meeting was con-
ducted by Mrs. Elaine Bechtel. Mrs, Ma
Tebbutt gave a reading and Mrs, Bechtel
,told an Easter Story. The Johnson sisters
Denise, Joy, Kathy sang. Guest speaker was
Ken Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Pot-
ter. He was introduced by Mrs. Irene
Pearce and he showed slides on West Coast
of Australia.

MIDDLETON - At St. James' Anglican
Church Communion and Blessing and
Dedication of the Paschal Candlestick and
Candle was held in memory of Charles and
Emma Wise, parents of Ray and Edward
Wise. The Palms were blessed and given to
the congregation by Sunday School children
Brad and Lee Ann Warnmes and Julie and
Jennifer Miller. Lisa Storey lit the candles
on the altar and assisted Rev. Reynolds with
Communion. Ray Wise and James Storey
received the offering.
On April 18 the Board of Management
meeting will be held at the home of The
Deeves, on April 20 Liturgy of Good Friday
3:00 p.m. This Sunday, April 22 is Easter
Sunday. Communion of Easter Day will be
