The ween4 agenda included reports from all 'Li ral,'arty of Canada (Ontario) Committees. Policy resolutions were- presennted for ratification in several areas including economicgrowth, employ- ment/education & training, agriculture and resources management, • social services, social issues, and international affairs. These resolutions provoked much discus- sion in their respective areas. Of particular interest was the opportunity to hear the view of the declared (to date) candidates for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada, in an open.two-hour debate. Do I Qualify for the Junior Agriculturalist Program? - Students : If you are a student 16 - 18 years old, as of January 1, have no previous farm work experience, and are in good mental and physical health, you are eligible for the program. Farmers: If you are full-time farming on a commercial operation. and have an in- terest in supervising and working with inex- perienced youth' to help them develop the skills required on a farm, you are eligible for the program.
