The winners were Mrs. Tom Cunningham with the high score for ladies and the low score was held by Mrs. Dana Bean. The high score for men was held by Dana Bean and the low score by Gary Shuttleworth. After a business meeting, lunch was served and a time of fellowship was enjoyed. Bradnock attended the annual meeting of Huron Presbyterial and Stratford Presbyterial at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Stratford last Tuesday. Church News Knox United Church had a good congregation last Sunday with the minister, Mr. Gary Shuttleworth in charge. The organist, Mrs. Gordon Gross, led the service of song and accompanied the choir when they sang the anthem, How Long has it Been? Mrs. Barry Millian was the director of the choir. The junior congregation was supervised by Mrs. Glen Webster and Mrs. Wayne Durnin. Booster Club The Auburn Booster Club met last Tuesday evening at the home of Miss Lorie Cartwright. A skate-a-thon was planned on the outcloor-\ rink on Saturday, January 28 with a storm date set for February 4. Sponsor sheets can be picked up at the home of Mrs. Allan Craig. Ages seven and under will skate from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 and ages eight and over will skate from 12:30 to 5:30 p:m. Proceeds are to go for a drinking fountain for the park. The winners of the gingerbread houses, on which tickets were sold at the Christmas Fair and later, were: Fran Doak and Bert Van Lammeren. Mr. Van Lammeren turned the prize back to the Booster Club and they presented it to Jerry Huizinga and his wife Brenda and .family_ for Christmas. It is to be a social evening and each member is to bring a prospective new member as their guest. - • Lions -Club Auburn and District Lions Club held its annual Ladies' Night last Wednesday with dinner served by the Auburn Booster Club. President Marinus Bakker was in charge. The secretary, Donald Haines reported that although the sleigh -ride on a sleigh drawn by a team of horses had been can- celled several times, it finally took place a week ago Sunday. Over 50 children enjoyed the rides around the village streets. A smcial thank -you to Mr. Nelson Moulden for mffiting it possible. Ththe evening was Constable John Marshall, Ontario Provincial Police, who gave a slide presentation on drug abuse and drug ad- diction. Many questions were asked after the close of his presentation. The members of the Auburn Leo Club were also guests at the dinner meeting.
