officiers

Kippen - The ffirst
meeting of Kippen 1 4-H Club
was held on Sept. 15 at
leader, Mrs. Hoggarth's
house.
The meeting was opened
with the 4-H pledge and
followed with the election of
officers. President is Janet
Hoggarth; vice president is
Linda Binnendyk; secretary
is Joan Binnendyk; press
reporter is Diane Vanneste
and treasurer is'Lois Binnen-
dyk. Members chose the
name Kippen Kuties for the
club. At the next meeting the
Kuties will be going to
Vanastra for a workout,
followed by a meeting at
Mrs. Al Hoggarth's.
An outdoor Presbyterian
Church service and picnic
lunch was held at Camp Kin -
tail on Sept. 11. People atten-
ding from this area were
Bert, Eleanor and John
Thompson, Bob and Marlene
Bell, and Al and Margaret
Hoggarth.
Service at St. Andrew's
United Church was held on
Sept. 18 with Pastor Don
Moffat in pulpit.
Sunday school was well at-
tended. Mrs. David Cooper
presided at the organ.
The Junior Choir who had
attended summer Bible
school presented the
ministry of music directed
by Miss Christine Cooper.
Budding
Beauties
The first meeting of the
Holmesville I 4-H Club.
"Looking Great, Feeling
Great" was held on Sept. 19
at Linda Mustard's home.
Members opened the
meeting with the 4-H pledge.
There were 10 members pre-
sent.
They decided to call the
club the "Budding
Beauties". Our election of of-
ficers are as follows: Presi-
dent, Lisa Forbes; Vice
President, Nina Potter;
Treasurer, Shelly Pearson;
Secretary, Lana Jones;
Press Reporter, Jodi
Mustard.
Leaders Phyllis Coulter
and Linda Mustard discuss-
ed the topic "What in-
fluences us when buying pro-
ducts?"
The next meeting will be
held at Shelley Crawford's
on Sept. 26 at 4:15 -p.m.
Everyone' wear comfortable
clothes because we will be
doing the "Health Hustle."

On Sept. 17, the
Holmesville II 4-H Club met
at Beverly Van Ninhuys. It
was the first meeting of the
4-H Homemakers Club. They
are starting the new project
called "Looking Great!
Feeling Great!" They open-
ed the meeting with the 4-H
pledge. Then members
received books and elected
officers. They are: Presi-
dent, Cathy Van Ninhuys;
Vice President, Barb Brand;
Treasurer, Christine Baker:
Secretary, Jan Ducharme:
Press Reporter, Diane Brad-
shaw.
Members worked on
meeting one in their 4-H
books then closed the
meeting.

Clinton 1 4-1-1 Club held its
first meeting at the home -of
Carol Dixon on Sept. 12. The
meeting started off with the
election of the officers and
an introduction to members.
The group consists of
Carol Dixon and Angela
Gower as leaders, Kelly Vod-
den president: Ellen Gower,
vice president and Marni
Gibbings secretary. The
press reporter duties will be
rotating. The other members
in the club are Donna Haugh,
Lori Livermore, and ,Joy
Taylor. The president open-
ed the meeting with the 4-11
pledge and the date of the
next meeting was set. Pro-
ject manuals 'were
distributed to members and
Meeting 1 and the project re-
quirements were discussed.
Carol served herb tea with
cheese bread. The "•lub name
