REUNION

The Blyth Fire Department will be putting on an impressive display at the weekend
reunion. Members of the volunteer brigade will give a demonstration of the live saving

They're cumbersome, noisy and smelly, but this type of old farm machinery has made
the Blyth Threshermen's Reunion an outstanding event. Twenty-two years ago, some 400
steam engine enthusiasts gathered in Myth for the first display. In recent years more
than 10,000 participants and visitors have met in Blyth for the annual show. (Blyth
