reserve funds
SEAFORTH - The Seaforth
Public Utilities Commission
is experiencing a new kind of
problem with its waterworks
section. Traditionally poor,
the waterworks department
has built up a reserve fund of
$25,000 and some of the
commissioners don't know if
they want to spend it.
A Inion of e) 5110 from the
reserve fund in the rough
draft of this year's budget
sparked debate over what
the fund should be used for.
Expenditures on the budget
included a study of the water
system, repairs to the water
tower, a new hydrant, 544
feet of watermain, and a new
truck.
