Junior congregation teachers were Jane Swan and June Fothergill. The W.I. Consumer Affairs and Resolutions meeting on Feb. 9 began with a pot luck dinner. President Margaret Taylor welcomed Lois Elliott who gave a demonstration from More Cents Than Dollars. She brought casseroles which were enjoyed for lunch. Secretary Marjorie Duizer noted the Officers Con- ference in Waterloo from May 3-5. Resolutions con- venor Beth Knox will be a delegate. A maple syrup demonstration will be held March 21-25 and 31 at Molesworth. There were eight interested in attending. The March 9 meeting will focus on Education with Richard Lobb as guest speaker. Mrs. Elliott gave each a book containing the recipes from the course held in Goderich Township on December 10. She explained the importance of sov beans. liver and iron. All measures were in metric which is not hard to convert. She ended with a contest on shoppers check list. She was thanked and presented with a gift by Addie Honking. Lois thanked W.I. for invitation also Doris Batkins thanked for the din- ner and invitation.
