This is the season of the year when the ladies must change the heavy felt and velvet hat for the bright and airy hat of spring, which is laden with #lowers as natural and fresh as if picked from the garden. The time has come when the Up-to-date hat is no longer wor over the eyes. The new and nifty hat shows the forehead and is tilted at the left side showing much trimming under the rims. Few hats are warn with one color of straw, some have the trim of one color and crown of another, others have two tone effects. The crowns, are of different shapes, some the bell shape, others straigh and much larger than of late. Flowers arc extensively used for trimming, but argrettes and tips are still in favor. Colors are very brilliant. Purple and violets will be much used this spring, The Sailor is here again, but it h left all its old time shearness by being very much trimmed:. Jaunt Walking hats are going to be very popular, they too being much trimmed. Come and see our lovely stock of Millinery. Our assortment is t lie largest, our artists the best, J. A. STEWART. " * iI.
