several convenors not han-
dling in game reports and

ATOM HOUSE LEAGUE
What,. We need is an official
scorer, .time keeper for this
league plus a convenor. Any
tfolunteers? To date we have
received, two game reports,
Candlelight Tavern won both
games, 4-0 and 5-0 as they

In Thursday's game played

that night, between Goderich
Restaurant and Sifto Salt, the
Goderich Restaurant team
beat Sifto Salt by a score of 5 -
The first period consisted of
wide open play and well
balanced teams. Sifto opened
the scoring with Tim
Lassaline scoring and Robert
Willis drawing an assist. With
less than one Minute left in
the .first period, Tommy
Profit tied the game for
Goderich Restaurant
receiving assists were
Stephen Boyce and Paul
Varty.
The second period proved
positive for Goderich
Restaurant as they went
ahead by two goals With
Tom rily Profit's second goal
of the night. Chri;tobaba
and Jeffrey Norman assisted
and Robert Jeffery scored
injdway through the period'.
Lu. the third period,
Goderich Restaurant went.
ahead by three goals with
Robert Jeffery scoring his
second'unassisted goal of the
evening. The period ended
with Robert Jeffery picking
up a hat trick.
Friday November 21, the
Goderich and
Godertch Restaurant battled
to a 3-3 tie. In the ficst period,
both 'teams played a close
checking game. There were
several spectacular saves by -
both 'goalies and as a result,
there was no scoring.
Early in the second period,
Dean Bowra of the 0.13.,Ps
opened the scoring on an
unassisted goal. Del Bedard,
also of.O.P.P. , scored on a
beautiful breakaway. Del was
digging hard for the pal( all
through the game anti was,
finally rewarded. Tom'Profit
put Goderich Restaurant on
the scoreboard when the
O.P.P.s failed to clear the
puck in front of •the net.
Robert Jeffery scored for
Goderich Restaurant to tie
the game. Assisted by
Siichird Wobeil
Jeffery and Mike Murphy
combined to give Goderich
Restaurantthe lead. The
0,P sprung back for an
electrifying finish. Mike
Chisholm scored on a
breakaway with 49 seconds
left in the game. It was indeed
a good hockey game, good
enterta-inment and the fans
thoroughly enjoyed it,
In Saturday mornings first
game, between•Sifto Salt and
Te D. Bank, the T, D. Bank
moved ahead 4-2. The opening
'goal of the game was T. D.
Banks Tom Smith, This was
quickly replied to by Tim,
Lassaline for Sifto Salt 29
second* later. Both goals
were unassisted. It was a
close checking period with
well balanced plays.
Ron Stoddart put away
Paul King's pass from the slot
in the second period, to give
T. D, Bank a 2-1 lead. Joe
Trebish caught the corner for
T. D. Banks third goal. Prior
to this goal Tom Smith for T.
D. Bank made two real good
scoring attempts but failed to
register a goal. Alah Baker
scored for Sifto Salt from
'Mike Paquette and. Randy
AUthIei inthe. third_pexiA,A9,_
help balance the score 3-2.
Tom Smith of T. D. Bank
scored —unassisted on a good
wrist shot. The final score of
the game T. D. Bank 4, Sifto
Salt 2. T. D. -Bank• showed a
lot of improvement and better
defensive plays.
In the second game played
Saturday morning, Denomme
Flowers white -washed
Goderich O.P.P. by a score of
6-1. 'In the first period, Steve
Sager combined with John
Huff and put Denomme
Flowers on the scoreboard.
Ron McGinnis picked up the
puck. after the 0.P.P.'s goalie
Scott Wilson made two good
saves and scored, assisted by
Colin Alexander and David
Parsons, Steve Sager scored
again unassisted„ Steve is a
real ghod player. He skates
well, checks well and has an
-accurate shot. The other
teams can't seem to control
him.
In the second period, Greg
Kirkconnell dug the puck out
of, the corner, passed it in
front to Del Bedard who put. it
away to put the 0.P.P,'s on
the scoreboard.'
In the final period, Kevin
Campbell scored after he
drew ,the O.P.P. ,goak ou,t of
position. John Huff assisted
John' Little scored for
Denomme Flowers assisted
by John Huff and Steve
Sager. The O.P.P. goalie
