bowling league is underway
for the 75-76 season.,,and after
on13' two weeks, a close race
for the top is evident.
The 'Striking Six captained
by Glen Lamb has claimed 13
of a possible 14 points to earn
sole possession of first place.

sweep but for a rare tie game

game .Sunday night,
November -a.
The Striking Six and Jack
Thom's Go Devils each
counted 941 pins to post the
tie. Hermie and Aisla Fisher
of the Go Devils produced
most of the opposition to -the
Striking Six with a combined
triple of 1037 pins, but ex-
cellent bowling by Glen
Webster and Glen . Lamb
_proved to be too much.
Glen Lamb also had the
high men's single of 259 and
the high triple, of 686 for the.
night.
Captain Bill Chisholm's
team Elevens picked up five
points Sunday night to take
possession of second place

ched by Marlene Black of the
Hopefuls.

above their _.average for

couldn't match the Hopefuls'
Marlene` Black and 'Ben and

ladies high triple of the -
evening, a 605, to lead her
team to a two game victory

points from Doug Fuller's,
Creepers: Rod and Lucy
Johnston combined to knock
down 1101 pins to provide the
