they were beaten on a goal by
Walkerton in the last minute
of play,.
In the first game of the
regular W.O.A.A. Pee Wee
League schedule Walkerton
edged Goderich 4-3. First
period, Goderich outplayed
and outskated Walkerton
producing tWo goals to take a
2-0 lead. Joey Morrissey
opened the scoring on a neat
passing play from Larry
Kelly. Jim Fritzley combined
with Mike- Wedlock for the
second goal.
In the second period,
Goderich were making costly
mistakes and were extremely
winning goal was scored with

remaining in the game as
Colin Alexander beat goal

Both teams played a hard
fought game, that could have
gone either way, but Joe

Friday' evening at 5.:30,
Goderich Restaurant
defeated Toronto Dominion
Bank by a score of 4-1. The
difference in the game was
the outstanding performance

WOAA Grand Champions,
started their 1975-76 season
with a win and a loss in the
opening games of their
WOAA schedule.
Here Saturday the Suns
defeated Mount Forest, 5-1.
Mark Crawford and David
GallowicOred two goals each'
for the SUritbast Suns. John,
Thompson scored the. other
Goderich goal.
Ricky Young had two
assists for the Suns and David
Callow had one.
Jess Denomme went all the
way in the Goderich net,
giving up the only Mount
Forest goal to Bobby Becker,
late in the third period.
The Suns moved the puck
well throughout the game and
dominated play most Of the
game.
It was a different story,
however, in Listowel Monday
night, when • the Listowel
Cyclones shut out the Suns, 6-
0. The Suns showed little
inclination to check or skatq.
and were outhustled by the
Cyclones.
Steve Conners with two
• goals, and Mike Town, Brad
Coughlin, Jeff Gowing and
Bruce Gooding with one goal
each were the Listowel
scorers.
Next action for coach
Richard Madge's team will

Supporters Club recently held
a succusful fund raising
ca'mpaign in Goderich. The
Club members feel they owe'
the success of the venture to
the generous response they
received from the Goderich
Businessmen.
Minor Hockey registrations
are down from last year and
Kincardine has more players
registered than Goderich.
