Here Saturday the Suns defeated Mount Forest, 5-1. Mark Crawford and David GallowicOred two goals each' for the SUritbast Suns. John, Thompson scored the. other Goderich goal. Ricky Young had two assists for the Suns and David Callow had one. Jess Denomme went all the way in the Goderich net, giving up the only Mount Forest goal to Bobby Becker, late in the third period. The Suns moved the puck well throughout the game and dominated play most Of the game. It was a different story, however, in Listowel Monday night, when • the Listowel Cyclones shut out the Suns, 6- 0. The Suns showed little inclination to check or skatq. and were outhustled by the Cyclones. Steve Conners with two • goals, and Mike Town, Brad Coughlin, Jeff Gowing and Bruce Gooding with one goal each were the Listowel scorers. Minor Hockey registrations are down from last year and Kincardine has more players registered than Goderich. DRMCO hangs on Roy's Boys picked up seven points Monday. night to strengthen 'their hold on second spot in the league standings in' Men's Monday night bowling and close to within four points of league –leading DRMCo.
