Try to find it for more details. The high school curlers will find that their fees are about 38. The student council plans to supply sufficient brooms for the student eurlers who . will be on the ice every Wednesday, 4-6 p.m., and the occasional Saturday. There will be an an- nouncement "' at " school regarding a preliminary meeting ,to organize the curlers. ' Doug Bundy will be running the student schedule, again, this year. For the first week of November, he has planned some interesting films, as well as practice sessions. Rookies bawl up in standings The Rookies picked up seven points Monday night• and jumped two notches' in leagues standings for second place just three points back of first place DRMCo in the Men's Monday night league.' The Rookies -have 28 season points for a two way tie for second with the Signal Stars. The Tail Ends have 24 season points for a third place spot followed by Roy's Boys with 22, Len's Wreckers with 21, Goderich Manufacturing with 20, Augie's Dogies with 19, the Hopefuls with 13 and A & P in last spot with four season points. Jim McWhinney helped the Rookies pick up points with his high single for the night, a 352 game. Doug Fisher of Len's Wreckers trailed McWhinne`with a 328 ingle and Kevin Rumig of DRMCo bowled a 305 single. High triple for• the night went to Jim McWhinney with an897 again trailed by Doug Fisher who came out with an 825 triple just ahead of Heinz , Satori of the Rookies who had a 798 triple. Joe Schlesinger of "-th'e Rookies has the season high single with a 365 followed by Jim. McWhinney with 352 and Don McWhinney of DRMCo with 332. Jim McWhinney has the .best triple of the season with his 897 followed by Don McWhinney's 848 and Doul Fisher's 825. The best averages for the season belong to ° •D1on McWhinney with 249, Jim McWhinney with 239 and a split for third best between Kevin Rumig of DRMC0 and Tom Flynn of the' Signal Stars, both with 224.
