The special ward winners from the 1974-75 Grade 13 class at
GDCI got together after, the ceremonies to exchange some
pleasant memories. Left to right they are Michael Palmer,
winner or the A. M. Robertson award for Mathematics and
Science and the Robert MacKay Memorial scholarship for the
highest average in Year 5; Joan Schoenhals, winner .of ' the
William Cutt Memorial Scholarship forhighest standing in two
languages other than English in Years 4 and 5 at GDCI; Peter
Willis, recipient of the Town of Goderich annual award to a
deserving Goderich student who is registered in an institution..
of higher -learning; and Brenda Thompson, winner' of the A:v,.J.,

Flora S imp"son won the W. H. Robertson Scholarship for highest marks'in English, Year 3 and 4,
and the Peter Adamson Memorial Scholarship for attaining, highest marks in'Year 4. After the
ceremony at GDCI last Friday evening; she stopped to chat with Don Kenwell, superintendent
of education for Huron County. Mr. Kenwell was attending commencement to see his two
