WHEREAS the I'olice Act, R.S.O. 1970 Chapter. 351'
and amendments thereto provides .that the Board of
Police Commissidners of a'municipality is rf sponsible
,for the policing and maintenance of la•w and order in
such municipality;- and - -
WHEREAS the Board of Police Commissioners of
the Town of .Goderich is concerned at the incidents of
vandalism, rowdyism and other unlawful, -acts within
the said town, and proposes to initiate action to curb
the same; and ,
WHEREAS the.said•Board in the public interest has
decided to seek suggestions from the citizens of
Goderich which may assist it in effecting its purpose.
NOW THEREFORE TAKE NOTICE that interested
citizens and organizations within the Town of Goderich
are; invited to present submissions to the Board which
may assist it in effecting its purpose at a public hearing'
to be held on . Wednesday, March 19th, 1975, 'com-
mencing at 2 p.m. in the main court room, Court
House, Goderieh,.Ontari . Those presenting briefs are
