Mrs. Edwina McKee • of
Goderich, has been painting
for almost 20years and what,
began as simply an esbape
hobby has become an in-
tegral, part• of her life and a
rewarding experienc"e.
• Despite painting for nearly
20 years' last November she.
'enrolled in an-: art
correspondence, . course
sponsored by the Ontario,
Ministry‘of Education. Sh"e
had browsed ' through the
literature sent to the
Goderich Ar't Club' and
decided tlbat she needed
some discipline in her work.
What began as fun turned
into a thrill unparalleled in
her painting career. In her
third . lesson , Mrs. McKee
received . top marks, 100
percent, for her non--
' objective piecg;,,,depicting her"
'fear .of heights. Instructors
were so intrigued with her
effort that they have asked
permission to use a picture
of . ,the painting on
brochures advertising'

is looking for girls who have
reached the age of 12 by
March 1, 1975, to join her 4-H
Homemaking Club.
The course will be "What
Shall I Wear?" and the
special activity .will be to
sew sc cotton blouse in a
simple pattern. Wardrobe
planning on. • a .clothes
allowance will also be
discussed.
Girls who are genuinely
interested in learnin sewing
skills are invited to all Mrs.

Prospective members,
