The children lay fast asleep and fare, but Santa Clause was not there, or anywhere. Santa thought of an idea, he would put airplane's wings on his sleigh. He finally got finished putting. them on. Then up. up and away he flew. He dropped off all his presents at the houses. On his way back home he ran out of gas. He stopped at "Sam the service station man's gasoline depar- tement." He filled the sleigh up and since he had no money .with him, he left him a teddy bear. On he flew. He finally reached the north pole. He went in his house.
