that beauty and build on it?
To preserve this we should
acquire more parkland and en-
sure that for everyhtree that is
removed that one is replanted.
The parks and flowerbeds
should continue to be main- ..
Gained in the same excellent
way.
8. - Lake Huron is a natural
beauty spot, a potential asset in
the community. In your
opinion:
a. Should our beaches be
Improved and additional
facilities addedto attract
visitors to Goderich?
Yes.
b. Should a municipal cam-
pground be established?
I feel that the town should
provide plenty of day picnic
areas but that overnight cam-
ping facilities at Point Farms
and The Falls are adequate.
c.,. Should municipal° funds
be allocated for acquisition of
future recreational areas
along Guderich's waterfront?
The municipality should id-
vestigate the Acquisition of
future recreational areas but
e o a cost s ou

'Maitland Valley Conservation
e s are
Authority.
9. •Rome people believe
regional government looms in
the not so distant futltre? In
your opinion:
e. Is regional government
desirable? Why?
No. Regional Government is
not desirable but what we need
is a reurganlfatlon of the
existing Count s% stem w hit h
would ensure in equals ed ,
share or better di.tgributn n of
the tax dollar

the area off' planning regarding
land on the fringe areas of
town.
b. Do°you believe the plan-
ning On the fringes of the
municipality should
correspond with planning •in
the adjoining rural areas?
although I feel zoning
should prevent any intensive
tare operations on abuttiing
Township lands (feedlot;i, hogs,
lagoons).
c, Should Huron's farmland
be ,protected; even abutting
Goderich?
4
Only farm land that is Class
