Fifteen of the eighteen candidates for council, reeves and mayor were well identified with name tags and large well printed desk signs made for the occasion by Gwen Kiar. Two minutes were given to the candidates to introduce themselves and tell why they thought they would make good council members. Hilde Maurer rang a little silver bell to let them know when their, time was up. This was done -so that everyone would have equal time. • To help you identify the can- didates here is a quick run- down. The difficulty is to know • where to start. The only solution I can, come up' with is to do it alphabetically like the ballot. Harry Bosnell, a retired Dominion Roads executive, said that although this was his first venture into town politics he learned quickly and if elec- ted would be a fulitirne mayor.
