Final goal was scored by Paul Young as he tipped in John Alexander's wrist shot for Goderich Restauran't's third goal. Second game, Sifto Salt came from behind to edge the Goderich O.P.P.'s team 2-1. Danny Redpath picked up the only goal in the first period, unassisted for the Goderich O.P.P. Early in the second period, Jim, Fritzley started the play in his own end, feeding John Clintent, Who - set up • David Moore for the tying goal. _Mike Wedlock scored what proved to be the winning goal as he,beat Brad Shortreed w°ho had no chance on a breakaway. November 22, doable header, Sifto Salt gained two points to move into first, place as they. edged Goderich Restaurant 3-1. John Clement was set up by defenceman Jim Fritzley for the only -goal in the second. Both. goalies stopped breakaways in the scoreless .first period. Then early in the third, John Ross made it one all as Del Mitchelrriore, one of the most improved s..pi;ayera in .i the Pee Wee Division, cleared the puck to John Ross who beat Paul Bellinger with a high hard • The Falcons came out for the. first ,10 minutes of the game and -showed the crowd that they could play good hard hockey if they wanted to. At the 3:23 mark of the period, Dale Duncan came on strong and beat Listowel's goaltender unassisted. Then, only a minute later, Larry Daer let a wrist shot go giving the Falcons a 2-0 lead. The goal was assisted by Ronan Conlon and Billy Peters. After this 2-0 • lead, the Falcons fell apart and Listowel went ahead to,score eight goals. The Falcons accumulated 41 minutes in penalties consisting of two 10 minute misconducts, and a five minute major, which .the team felt were all uncalled for. C. Coach Mike Pope and Manager Bill Helesic feel that the team have shown they can win if each player gives 100 percent effort. Let's hope they can break their losing streak and play as, a teani to win. The only Goderich goal was scared by Roger Lewis assisted by Steve Arbour at the 7:32 mark of the. third period. Their next game ways played in Goderich with a return match against Listowel.
