one ,,of their best games, goal

going for a shutout but Jim
Burbine finally put one past
him for Denomme Flower's

The Falcons came out for the.
first ,10 minutes of the game
and -showed the crowd that
they could play good hard
hockey if they wanted to.
At the 3:23 mark of the
period, Dale Duncan came on
strong and beat Listowel's
goaltender unassisted. Then,
only a minute later, Larry Daer
let a wrist shot go giving the
Falcons a 2-0 lead. The goal
was assisted by Ronan Conlon
and Billy Peters.
After this 2-0 • lead, the
Falcons fell apart and Listowel
went ahead to,score eight goals.
The Falcons accumulated 41
minutes in penalties consisting
of two 10 minute misconducts,
and a five minute major, which
.the team felt were all uncalled
for.
C. Coach Mike Pope and
Manager Bill Helesic feel that
the team have shown they can
win if each player gives 100
percent effort. Let's hope they
can break their losing streak
and play as, a teani to win.
