home. The drawing may be
in, black' and white or in
colour and 'should be ac-
companied by -very few
words. Size of the posters
must,,not ' exceed24 by 24
inches.
• There are two categories
in the contest: Seniors, 'ages
13' to 19; Juniors, ages 12
an&under.

Although there were win-
ners from all 'across Can-
.ada for last year's poster
contest, Quebec and Al-
berta dpriminate.d the win-
ners' circle. There were
eight winners from Que-
bec, and seven from Al-
berta. In all, last .year's
entries filled 17 mail bags.
In fact, there were four
winners from Chateauguay,
Que., alone. This indicates
that teachers there encour-
aged their pupils to take
part in the. contest and this,
in turn,,.underlines the im-
portance of schools' to fire
prevention; • .
