SHOR1 TIPS
Here are some short tips for
long trips, from the Ontario'
Safety League. Leave sooner . .
. drive slower • . . live lo'bger:
Drive with the traffic and not
against the clpck!
Beauty Aides,
Avoiding, sudden., ;violent,
death • is the reason usually
given for the need to,fasten
safety belts: But nrany people
seem to have become immune
to that appeal. A suggestion for
an alternative approach, 'noted
by the Ontario Safety League„
is that a more effective "appeal
• might- be: "It may saviour
teeth, hose, cheekbones and
.chin. Avoidfacial
disfigurement!" Montaigne ex-
pressed a similar thought"when
he said there was no torture a
woman 'wotfldn't undergo Ito
save her beauty.
The Baha'i' Faith Teaches
Life after death "Know thou.of a truth, that the soul, af-
. ter its separation from the body, will continue to
progress. until it attaineth the presence of, God ... The
nature of the soul after death can never be -described
The Prophets of God have been sent down for the sole
purpose -of guilding mankind to -the straight path.of
Truth ... The light whish these souls radiate is respo)n- -
sible for the progress of the world and' the_advan-
-cement' of its people ., ..'The world beyond 1s as dif-
ferent
from- this world as this world is different from
that of the child while still in the womb of Fits mother."
