In the McGee Pontiac Invitational Pace last Friday__
evening, Miss Belle Bars was the winner in =2:07'4!5: Ir was
the second straight invitation race won by driver Frank
MacDonald at. Goderich; he, had won the previous week's
feature with Shadow Bars.
Both Shadow Bars and Miss Belle Bars are owned by
Fred' Fowler of Londesboro. C D Dust; -who finished second
to Miss Bel4e Bars, cut out fractions of 32,315:1:05 1'5 and

C;� Mjss Belle Bars overtook C I Dust at the seven -'eighths
pole and held off late stretoh bids by C D Dust and Mike's •
• Jimmy Lynn. Speedy Kid finished fourth in the race'and Ar-
mbro Kernal was fifth.
As the betting favourite, Miss Belle Bars returned $2.90•to
win and $2.30 to -place. C'D Dust, owned by Frank and Gerry
Johnston of Goderich, paid $2.70 to place. The ex,actor•paid
$5.30. ' �
Clarence Yo-itn°g drove his first of two winners last Friday
night in the first race,.,steering Freight Direct to Victory in
Blushing Pandora collected her second -win at
Goderich this year in the second in 2:11 1!5. The 'two
favourites, Freight 'Direct and Blushing Pandora combined
for a daily double of $5.80.
Easter Rogue lowered and collected her second lifetime
win in the third in 2:11 4/5. Miami Mis finished s,ond to
Easter Rogue.
Crash Landing won .Nis fi'rst •race in 2:12 2i5 with Gerry
Roebuck driving. This three-year-old horse is by. H.A.
Meadpwla.nd.'out of Miss Judy Bars and is -owned by Ron
and GeorgevFeagan. Claybrook Crafty finished 'second in the

Corky Camp won hi's first race of the year in two' trips out1s�
with' Dennis Jewitt driving. Luke Dares was second in the

race.
Gladies Boy- made it two fo"r, two o this year. with owner
Johnny Muir of 'Seaforth driving. Scotch A Plenty 'finished
second. Kash U Kwik vas dfacile winner 'in the seventh
• with Ted Oenernaup. Scott's G edged out Deep Run Fris for
the place award. .
The largest exactor of the night occurred -in the, eighth
when ' Noral Moon won the race and Dream '• Volo was
second, The 5-3 ;combination paid: $7fl.10. Clarence Young's
second win of the night came -in the tenth when he guided
Lucan's. Lady to victory in 2:11 4/5. Tirnberina Hy finished,
second to Lucan's Lady.With his two' wins last Friday Young ecarne the driver
• with the highest average: 6 starts -4 wins and 1 second (771).
Young is also tied with Meriam for the dasb lead with four
