"Howdy, all you -United, Fans! Happiness is winning!!,And

Both teams° were playing strong soccer ..,a,lj.h.ough- not

tough bunch and' • played without style or distinction.
Goderich was a bit muddled, 'especially during the first half.
Some of the guys positions had been switched and they
seemed disoriented and'slightly confused: •
Goderich was determined and goal-rrminded but no go and -
time after" • time their 'rim , were thwarted. Dave Graf
managed to head a ball into the net some during the first
, ; half, but it was called on some ,technicality or other, so our
joy was short-lived! ' But it was worth the try, Dave!
:St, Mary's got quitetia few more shots on goal than we did
and4hey kept Carl on his. toes, in'the' air"; on the ground; you
•name it, Carl.cdid it!! The first half ended in a, scoreless tie^
and the boys were;itching, to chalk up angoal . for Goderich!
They►'began •the Second 4-5 minutes with a few'"fireworks",
'which resulted in 'Goderich being awarded.a free kick. This
was one ca l 'we `weren'.t going, to dispute!!' (That referee sure
