Last week the men of the community converged on 'the Benmiller Hall Park for a light raising. About:20 „0 residents of Colborne Township were on hand with traitors, trucks and ropes to install the 45=foot light' standards at the park. The Be.nnn,'iller Foresters Lodge sponsored the entire operation. The group pur- chased the lights from the Town of Goderich and 'bought the towers and . footings to -mount .them on. The lights are the original Goderich Ball park lights and have -been converted by the.Foresters for• use in Ben - miller. On Tuesday Gerry Ginn, President of the Lodge, and Bill Bogie, Chairman of the ball committee, organized work parties to in4tail the' .towers.
