Amendment has been drafted by the Town of Goderich Plan-

The decision to advertise was
reached after haggling for
almost two hours on the
subject and, two recorded votes
during a special meeting in
Seaforth Thursday to study a
proposal for reorganization as
presented by the Superinten-
dent of Education, John Yin -
tar.
Mr. Vintar made the
proposal to engage. a super-
visory"°"bfficer to replace the
special education consultant
'Who has resigned and to fill the,
vacancy in the position " of
primary consultant. Because of
major curriculum- changes by
the ministry for the primary
and junior division which,,,
require in -school follow-
through supervision, guidance
and evaluation and for leader-
ship training of principals, Mr.
Vintar suggested, these could be
implemented with the
assistance of a supervisory of-
ficer. He said about 90 per cent
of a supervisory officer's time
would be utilized in the
schools.

Two firsts
There were two firsts at the Sunset Golf and Country Club last Tuesday evening'- the first
men's night and the first hole in one for the season. Tony Bedard (right) used a four Iron on
the 210 yard tenth hole at Sunset and did what seems to most golfers the impossible. He said
,he was going to use a three iron but changed his mind at the last and reverted to a four. "The
ball seemed to be off to the fight", said Tony."Marcel and I looked for it for ten minutes before
he spotted it in the-cup"Marcel Richard (left) was golfing with Tony and verified the feat. The
