to be built on, 17 1/2 acres
available to Conklin. The other
30 acres included are owned by
the town.

board that Conklin would be

hydro line corridor.
The town -owned ' land is
designated, as industrial by the.
official plan. The proposed sub-
division site would have to be
rezoned before construction
could start.
Mayor Harry Worsell told
the board that town council has
not yet . been approached by
anyone about possible sale of
the, town land.
Board members generally
agreed that the. developers
should wait until a land deal is
closed 'before detailed plans for
the subdivision are submitted.
In other business, the. board
turned down a request from
Marcel DeWinter that his

Brian Markson as Nero turned in a, superb performance .
during Festival '74 last weekend. The Soliloquy was written
by the show's'director and producer, Mrs. Rani Zonneveld.
Markson, a favorite with Goderich Little Theatre audiences,
brought sparkle to his portrayal of the proud and haughty
Nero. Incidentally; the Markson talent was evident in An-
drew Marksan, son of Brian who took # large part in the
show and along with 'two companions provided some fine
folk singing about midway through the program. (staff
