Hl folks! Happy Spring, to you all! e
Well, the. soccer season is once mce-upon us and was

winter moat& and it certainly shows. They're,in fine forth.'
"(They are a handsome lot!)
Although Sunday's genie. was somewhat hampered by
strong winds; nevertheless there were some fine plays.
Goderich United started`0ff the scoring in the first: half;'
with Harold Refflinthaus producing a goal. Clinton kept at
'us with heavy;cheeking and fine footwork," but to ne avail.
Early into the second half, another goal was chalked up
for Goderich by John, Gottschalk. Minutes later Clinton
scored a goal and. the game remained at 2-1 for Goderich un-
til the fiwhistle,
Good aportsrnanshinalp and earnest play were maintained by
both teams. Mery Witter did a greet job as referee (and in-
cidentally got a fast workout running back and forth on the
field!) Hope .this game is a forerunner of many exciting
gamcome.
