It struck him on the hard hat, causing second degree burns 'to his` wrists. Most im- portant, his hard hat saved his eyes And face"„from severe rns. He could - have lost his eyesight. As a result of this accident, Mr. Pergel became member 64 of the Gladhatters Club, 'for- med by theConstruction Safety Association of Ontario.
