The American playwright Tennessee Williams, often called the
greatest living American playwright, "Stars" in a 90 -minute
CBC -TV film .special Monday, March 26, at 8:30 p.m. Harry
Rasky's film, shot on location in Williams' home settings of New
Orleans and Key West, also stars such well-known actors as
Burl Ives and Canada's William.Hutt in scenes from some of his
most famous plays—including A streetcar Named Desire, which
was written in New Orleans in the house seen in the background.
