This child is in good general health but was born with cerebral
palsy (lack of muscle control) which handicaps her only mildly.
tier balance is poor, she walks awkwardly and has limited use of
her right hand. She wears orthopedic boots because of flat feet
and to help her walking. "
Despite these difficulties Elizabeth is very active and play s all
the games other children do. She has a trickle and manages it
;ell. Iler hand is more help to her than she realizes because she
can use it w hen reminded and when on a sw ing she holds the

exercise to do at home.
Elizabeth goes to senior kindergarten in the afternoons. She is
considered to be a slow learner hut her foster mother says she is

An affectionate child, Elizabeth is accustomed to much at-
tention from her foster parents and their three older children.

with a surprise shower at the
home of Mrs. Alfred Hutchin-
son, Goderich. Miss Janet Hut-

tests were enjoyed by the
