were given an opportunity to
see our dramatic talent at

leading role as a sickeningly
sweet and ' excitable young
woman whose husband had left
her on the morning • of their

reminded the students of the
star of the old television series

Faith Trueheartlived with a
tough and down-to-earth
friend, Liz, played by. Cheryl
Munroe.- An old lover,
Desmond ...Dalton (Graham-,,
Royal), was the "bad guy" of
the play, complete with top hat
and a waxed moustache! He
brought his friend; in reality
Carla Elliot,* to Faith's home,
in the hopes of gaining Faith's
immense fortune.
As the '
sinister, ' conniving
man strived to carry out his
evil plan, Excelsior. -Colfax,
_played, by Roger Stevens, en-
tered to save the day! Ah, a,
perfect, ending;
Mr. Smallwood 'and Sue
Dunlop, the directors and the
actresses and actor e'deserve
credit for a perforinata greatly
appreciated by all the students
of G-D•C.I.
The, Drama Club -.is starting
anew this year, .:as most of die

Computer Science Day
local high school
students to Waterloo
This Saturday about three
hundred senior secondary
students and 15 of their
teachers will visit the Univer-
sity -of Waterloo to -participate
in a, Computer Science _Day.
This will be the first Computer
Science Day since the Christ -
rias holidays. '
Among those present will be
a delegation from
,The •progra'm, which was
started back in • .1965, has
helped thousands of students to
plan their university ,courses,:
'and eventually their careers.
Over half of this group have
never used a computer before
and will begiven a special in-

The Drama Club is presently - su lett of
planning Trigon '73 and ten-
tative dates are February 22
and 23, Mr. Smallwood, Sue
Dunlop:and other teachers will
direct the annual • program,
three one -act plays. Casting
begins this =week.
