Church Women was held on December 4 commencing with a potluck supper, which was well atten- ded. e The president, Mrs. Mary Morris presided and opened the meeting by welcoming etteryorke and offered -,prayer. Mrs. Chester Feagan read the Scripture taken from the second chapter of St. Luke. A ,candle lighting memorial service[, conducted by Mrs. Geo. Curren 'and Mrs. Ben Freeman, was held in honor of seven deceased members. Mrs. Ralph Kingswell lighted • a candle in 'methoxy of her mother, Mrs.' Harold Allin; Mrs. Graham Inglis in memory ' of her mother. Mrs. Ed. Hardy. _Mrs Ronald Penning n -in memory or her, mother, Mrs. Roy Wilson. Mrs. Mel Bennett in memory of her mother»in-law, Mrs. Clare Bennett. ,Mrs. Roy Finn gar, in memory of her mother, Mrs. Laura Fowler. Mrs. Chas. Shelton in memory of her mother Mrs. Varcoe. Mrs. Thos. Wilson in memory of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Wilson. ' A life member ceremony was held, ankl pins were presented to Mrs. Harry Westlake and. Mrs, Ruby Matthews.
