,In asking the a'a opayera of Goderich and Colborne- Townships,
a mandate to 'represent their interests ,on , the Huron County
Board of 'Hducation. I do so fair the following .reasons.

influence, or lack -of it, that the sehoole have on our children,

am concerned with the constantly rising cost et education and 1
• want, if possible, to do something about it, I have farmed in
Colborne and know how hard` it is to make a dollar.

,The `bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Donald 1ritzley of
Milton. The, groom is the son of
Mrs. -Ida Foster and the late
Edgar Foster of R.R.2,
Georgetown.
Rev. C.A. Hainer conducted
the candlelight' double -ring
the organ. The soloist, Mrs.
Mary. Ann Desjardine of
Parkhill, cousin 'of the' bride,
sang "At Thine Altar Stand";
"The Lord's Prayer" and
"These Whore God Hath Joined
Together".
knowing something about buying and selling, 1 am concerned
about the way our schools make up their budgets for supplies
and services. I feel much could be sayed in this area, ,
4. Finally, l have taught your children for the past 5 years (I
was retired last June) and know whereof I speak when I say, that,
w "All is not well in our school systemt°'. There is a sad lack of
communication between the school board and the teaching staff.
This, leads to mistrust and suspicion between employer and em-
ployee which must be eliminated.
As a businessman, as a farmer and as a teacher I will do my
best to be your trustee ..on the Huron Board.

The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor -
length gown of satin, high
neckline trimmed'° in lase, mat-
ching lace at the empire line
and down the long sleeves with
deep French cuffs. A matching
long satin train also trimmed in
lace, over which a long lace veil
was held by her headpiece. The
bride carried a, bouquet of red
roses, centred by a white orchid.
The maid of honor was a
friend, Miss Ann Hopkinson of
Goderich, She wore a floor -
length gown of light mauve chif-
fon with deep mauve velvet vest.
She wore a light mauve picture
roses. The groom'a mother wore ,
a iblue.floor»length gown of c-
fon with silver acceopries ar►d a
corsage of yellow *west
The wedding supper and
reception were held at Hornby
Tower la olf Club.
The bride's travelling outfit
was a two-piece dress of navy,
green and white. She wore navy
accessories and acorsage of red
rows..oh,
The couple lft for a
honeymoon trip t tttiwa. They
will reside in Milton.

SHOWERS
Prior to the marriage, a
family shower was given by the
groom's family. Also, showers
were ; given by Mrs. Monica
Slessor and Miss Debbie
Aikenhead of Milton: Ttvo out-
of-town showers were given by
Mrs. Jean .Wey and Mrs. Bea
Mayer of Kitchener. Mrs. June
Hayter and Mrs. Betty Lou
Fuller, auntsof the,bride, gave
her a shower in Goderich.
Out-of-town guests were
present at the wedding from
Goderich, Clinton, Oakville,
Galt, Kitchener, Norwich,
Parkhill, Milton,' Georgetown,
Don Mills, Wiltowdale, Brock-
ville, Scarborough', Toronto,
West Hill, Richmond' Hill,
Maple, Acton, Streetsville and
St. Catharines.
Following the rehearsal, the
groom's mother entertained the
wedding party at her home.
MR. and MRS. K.E. FOSTER
hat trimmed with deep mauve
velvet ribbon and carried a
bouquet of white, yellow and
mauve flowers of daisies; car-
nations and chrysanthemums.
The bridesmaids were Miss
Debbie Aikenhead and Miss
Karen Daly, both friends of the
bride, and Miss Sandra Foster,
sister of the groom, all from
Milton. Their dresses were iden-
tical to the maid of honor's but
they carried baskets of flowers
of white, , yellow . and mauve
daisies, carnations and chrysan-
themums.
Beverley Slessor of Milton, a
friend of the groom, was best
man. The ushers were Pete
Walker, Pete McCuaig of Milton
and Norm Hartcourt of Oak-
ville, all friends of the groom.
The mother of the bride wore
a floor -length gown of coral
pink crepe with silver ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink
