Rev'. William J. Mortimer. D.D.
A former Auburn minister,
Rev. William J. Mortimer D.D.
passed away at Riverdale
Hospital, Toronto, on Sunday
November 12th.
He was predeceased by his
wife, the late Dr. Mabel Mor-
timer.
He is survived by one son A r-
thur arid one daughter, Mrs.
G:H. (Marian) Craig; six grand-
' children and two great-
grandchildren.

hard to set up this table, which
will consist t►f a variety of hand
crafts.
Members will also. have a
float entered in the Santa Claus
Parade. The group will have a
workshop on the float on Mon-
day, November 27, which is a
rneetingo night for the Group
starting at 7:00 at St. Mary's
School.
The Youths are also working
to establish a Folk Choir under
the direction of Mrs. Moerbeek.

FIRE
The Lucknow Fire Depart-
- merit- - was called to a fire in a
large grain dryer at M.J. Smith
Grain Elevators tit 1 a.m.
Tuesday, November 14th.
About 40 tons of corn had to
be augered out of,the elevator in
order that the fire source could
be located and extinguished
without. serious damage to the
new dryer.

north side of Great Slave Lake.
