IciaIIy over for 19i Banquet honors players after thrilling season at Goderich diamond • ,The Goderich , Industrial Softball League held their _- --season -wind-Erp banquet at the Harborlite Inn on Saturday evening followed by a dance. At the dinner the.. organization honored winning teams for 1972 and the,.outstanding playdrs. ' The Dominion Road Machinery'teara won the overall championship this season as they defeated the consolation champs Sifto Salt in the playoffs. Batting champion Glen Falkiner, who wound up the season-- with - a ' .41' -:average, received the Bill Kirkey Trophy which was'. presented by its donor., In other business, at the dinner the various members elected the new executive who will tend to league affairs during the 1973 season.
