Information from ' Father
O'Lougthlin's records of the
early settlers gave him the
needed information of the
Martin, O'Neil and King
families. Visiting the fate Addie
Martins, Bill spied a cutter in
the top of the barn and bought it
from Mr. John Van Rooi, the
present owner.
They visited the Huron
County. Museum and dated the
cutter as of, the early eighteen- '
sixties and owned ° by the early
settler John Martin. Leaving
Saturday itwas tied in with the
bicycles .and motor -bikes to be
placed in their closed -in patio.
All the visitors enjoyed their
vacatign in spite of the weather
and were impressed 'by the•
stately country church, of St.
Josephs' with its recent altar
renovations and landscaping.
All hope to return again soon.
