The `Heim Gallery is a non-
profit gallery dedicated, as an
artiste' outlet gallery. It is the
only one of its kind between

provincially -sponsored group of
'musical young people. They will
be here. August 9 at Harbor.
Park at 7:30 p.m. by

The -1972 version of Summer
Sounds includes two groups
with about, 35 }.r�nernbers each,

aged 13 to.22. ver 500 young
people from the province had
auditioned to "be one of the 70'
accepted.
The , • non-professional
musicians will be staging a show
called . "Mixed Bag" in
Goderich. It will be a
combination of pop and folk
music.
The leader of the group, Marc
Boyman, had previously been in

time people, including
technicians and' directors. The
full-time personnel were hired -

Congratulations to Mrs. Mary
Lambertus who celebrated her
87th birthday on Monday,
August 7. Mrs. Lambertus
enjoys fairly good` health and
lives in her small home here
during the summer t i nths: Her
daughter, Sister Jane Frances of
Formosa visited with her mother
on this ,special occasion as well
as her neighbours and members

in Toronto. Since they do not
have time to play at too many
places in Ontario, Goderich is
considered fortunate to obtain
the *young talented musicians.

Huron County Itevelopmeit
Committee - whose members
agreed that Sky Harbor Airpark
was being maintainedwithin the
terms of the agreement set forth
by the county of Huron,
Goderich Town- Couricil decided
to drop the problem for the time
being. •

"Reeve Paul Carroll chairs
the meeting, and directs
questions, to Mr. Don Hamilton,
.Solicitor for Associates Finance.
Mr. Hamilton advises that the
registered owner of S,ky. Iarbor
is in the name of Hopkinson
Estate, but that there are a few
registered• liens against the
property. - Associates Finance is
in the position of mortgagee in
possession. Mr. Murphy and Mr.
Mill; solicitors, point -out other
pertinent facts to the committee.
It is understood that the
Cruickshank. Estate has made a
-valid offer to purchase Sky
Harbor., and ° will live up to
home and went on,to Point
Ideal to their summer home. On
their way back to Akron they
will visit with Mr.. and Mrs.
Wellington Webster.

provide concerts to
municipalities which can't
afford their own music
programs and can't afford to
import talent. It also giyes the
musicians and singers a summer
of musical training and a tour of
the province. `

Contests were held in the hall Goderich
for the ladies. In charge were
Mabel Holmes, Grace Walter,
and Lorrine Young. "A problem
and answer" contest was won'
by Ila Oke and Grace Walter.
"Streets in Goderich" contest
was won by Dorothy Whitely.
.Olive McMillen 'won a prize for
the most buttons on her dress.
"Guo a number of peanuts
in a jar' was won by Birdie
Whitely.
"Guess the weight of a jar"
winner was Jean Ginn. The
prize to .the oldest person
present was -won by Mrs. -Ethel
Fuller. The largest shoe size
went to . Martha DeBoer.
A short meeting was held
before the men arrived and
everyone enjoyed a cold salad
supper. The lucky chair was
won by Irene Oke.
The September meeting will
be held at the home of Isobel-

• Four young Goderich
musicians, all members of the
Laketown' Band, have been
selected to perform with.an all -
N star youth "concert band on
August 27 at the . Canadian
National, Exhibition.
They are Jody Brissette and
Eleanor McMillan, clarinetists;
Tom McGill; percussion, and
Ernest McMillan, . trumpet.
Selection was made by Allan
Ford, Director of the Ontario
Youth Music Camp where these
and other band' members
furthered their music education
this summer. Mr.* Ford will
conduct.. the. orchestra at the
Sunday concert at the C.NE '
regulations of agreement. Under
