Friday is always -Bingo day at
.Huronvi.ew. but for this week. -we
'hope to, have many 'outside;

some real prizes. instead of the
usual chocolate bars. etc.

Lawii bowling .event
The Goderich Lawn' Bowling
Club was host hi' quite a large
group of visitorswho were
introduced to the game of lawn
bowling, with special events
being held for the new members•
only.
One•speeial event of the evening
consisted of forming all of the
visitors into doubles teams "to
play.. against one anotherwith
regular club members acting as
instructors for each new team.
*Tile'purpose of this event was to
allow the visitors to become
initially familiar with the
"knack" of rolling these

whieh are designed to travel in a
curve, rather than a straight path
in their journey of of to 100. feet

other. This allows a skilful player
all sorts of opportunity to attempt
to place as many as possible of his
bowls nearest to the "jack". The
