bites. What fantastic golfing
.weather! A little hard on the
greens and fairways, but great for;
the back swing.
Last Tuesday, was the first
Ladies' Night•,Thirty-four "ladies
were out to enjoy the two -ball
event. It was`wonderful to see the
old familiar faces, and a lot of new
ones too. It was easy to spot those
who had been taking lessons
during the winter -a picture of
concentration!! '

The men are trying out the point
system this _year. Instead of

The men's first Inter -Club
Tournament, will be held this
Sunday in Kincardine, at 11:30
a,m. Please sign the list on the
bulletin board if you are
interested. 1 understand the men
have had a lot of fun at these in .the
past.

hints after your shot. This is
very important to the golfer
coming up behind you.
Last week I-inade-an error in
the times of Saturday's higisocial
event. The Scotch -two -ball will
begin at4 p.m., cocktail, hour .at 6
p.m, and dinner at 7 p.m. The
dance will follow. Pick up. your

• sport designed to ,provide rib
tickling '(and possib'ly' rib
breaking) entertainment ' for
spectators and players alike.

,Stouffville, Ontario, supply the
animals. • They firing eleven
donkeys: three for basemen,
three for fielders, and one for
shortstop with four donkeys used
as base runners for the batters.
The pitcher and catcher are the
only players unmounted alld they
are' confined to a restricted area
for their activities. Par PlayErs
are not required to stay mounted
at all times but they'bust be on
donkey back to participate in any
play.
The Kinsmen are sponsoring
this very unusual 'sport. It is
coming on Thursday, , June 22.
