On June 6, 1923 he was married
to Hazel Louise Robertson. at
Stratford and continued to live
there until moving to Goderich`in
1966. He is still survived by his
wife.
Mr. Salter was a member of
North Street United Church and is
survived by five children; Shirley
Ru(sell Wilhelm) of
Exeter, Charles Junior of
Stratford, Fred of Goderich,
William of -London and Ronald of
R.R. 5, Stratford. He is also
survived by 16 grandchildren and
thred great grandchildren. He
was predeceased by one
grandchild. d
Also living are five brothers
and one ,,sister, hEdward of
Stratford, George of Long
Branch, Fred, Alfred, Thomas
and Edna (Mrs. Stanley Sealey) all
of Stratford. •
The funeral. service was
conducted from Stiles Funeral
Home with interment in Maitland

son of William (Skip) MacDonald

he former Violet Thompson
heiived in Goderich until 1950 and
then in Toronto since that time.
He was the proprietor of a large
cleaning establishment in
Toronto and then a salesman in
the field of insurance 'and real
estate. Mr. MacD ald also had a
record of service' in the Navy
during World War Two.
An adherent- of Knbx
Presbyterian Church in
Goderich, he is survived by
daughters Janet (Mrs. Robert
Cadman) of Kitchener, Deborah
and Susan at home and son, Bruce
of Vancouver. He is also survived
by a sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Victor
Crane) and brother, Bruce,, both
of Goderich, as well as his mother
Violet (Mrs. David Oliver) of
Burlington. .
Rev. G. L. Royal conducted the
service and interment was in a
Veteran's. Plot v at .Maitland
