In the early 1920's the BarlOar Brothers of•Goderich constructed the buiIding.and in the years since it has served as a garage and service Station for numerous owners, mostrecently being operated by.Gord Crawford who.., moved out of the -structure recently and into a new building. Where the o l d bu i l -d i ng stands will soon become a parking lot. u° • Mr. Crawford purchased the building, business -.and.. tend from Bill Rope in 1965 who had operated a service station and machine shop on the premises since he had bought, the, location from. the Barker family around 1940.
