Yott will probably have noted
from last week's Signal -Star that
the Horne Care Plan for .Huron
County is well ,on its way to
reality. Actually, the program
will get underway ,this fall in the
Seaforth-area first (the town of
Clinton will be included too, I
believe) and if, after a trial
period, it is determined that
things •are working well, the
project will spread to the entire
county.
Dr. Frank Mills, Acting
Medical Officer of Health, seems
to be fairly' confident that the
servicewill be available all across
the county within a year or so.
It will be a wonderful, thing if"
"that is so. One of the biggest
assets will be that the sick will
be able to leave. the hospital
earlier to get well in the
familiarity of their own homes,
thus leaving more hospital beds
