An organizational meeting oll North Street United Church couples interested in forming a club was held in the church parlor Friday; January 8. Close to twenty 'couples. attended. (or Were represented bbyone4 •partner) , and 'showed keen ''interest in establishing a Couples Club with a social fo.�cus- -Meeting's' will be held at $:1'5 Sharp' on the, first Friday of each month._. The regular meeting place will be the church parlor„ but may vary .with the nature of -the activity. The first meeting will be held Friday,..February 5, at 8:15 p.nr. Each member took part in the devotional period. • Carols were sung, Christmas readings were given and" games were played. A short time was allowed for each contest that is played' throughout the month.
