Last weekend, Goderich
didn't seen like the same town.
'And I •was so glad that the park
benches were bright red and that
the 'ODE -flower-pots-were, - in
full view all around the Square.
Goderich and the exhibits, of
flower -'arrangements were geared
to this theme.
I looked them all over and
decided that' my favorites were
Pioneer Museum and Judith
Gooderham Park -and Swimming
Pool, follbwed - closely by.
camping and dining out. . .
Registration was heavy at the Octogenarian Picnic last
Wednesday sponsored by the Kinsmen. This is the 23rd year'
th-at the Kinsmen have entertained the ,senior' citizens at a
picnic. The first year there were 18 people present; registration
this year admitted more than 100 men and women from
Goderich and area. Mrs. Barb Shewfelt was commended for
her -efforts in organizing the'guest list ,and transportation.
