previous meeting, were accepted
as read by the - secretary, Mrs.
Elliott Lapp. The financial
Statement was given by the
treasurer, Mrs. Tom
Cunningham. Mrs. Ted Hunking
reported that the Londesboro
Messengers had donated $5
• toward the Adopted Child Fund.
An invitation to attend the
Auburn Women's Institute on
June 16th was accepted. Mrs.
Ted flunking was in charge of a
musical number. The draw prize
•I donated by Mrs. Roy Daer was,
won by Mrs. Lloyd Penfound.
Mrs. John Hallam' invited the

June meeting and the roll call is

fees. The program Will be in
charge of Mrs. James Jackson
and Mrs. George Schneider and
the lunch committee will be Mrs.

sale at the next meeting.

••evening was Mrs. Lloyd Walden,
of 'Westfield. She was introduced

Crop report
All crops look excellent with
white bean seeding 60 per cent
completed. Hay harvesting has
begun particularly for haylage,
with some alfalfa weevil damage'
noted. Rain will soon be needed
as soil is rapidly drying out.
Public schools track
and field meet held
The annual Goderich
Schools track and field day was
held at Victoria Public School
on Wednesday, June ,O with
students from Robertson Public
School joining the host school
Jor the day. Track events were
held at' Agricultural Park on
June 8. Results were as follows:
