A play with fine looking costumes is always well received, no
matter whether it is performed in one of the large theatres in
Canada or at the local vacation bible school held at Knox
Presbyterian Church last week. Members of the volunteer staff of

A vacation bible school concluded at Knox Presbyterian Church
last Friday .after a week of activities from sing songs to the
construction of paper models and the performance of a play.
Some of the art activity is shown here with the intermediate
children doing the work. Mrs. Bert Alexander, Janet Hyde, Mrs.
Ken Dunn and Mrs. Alvin McGee were giving the children a hand
to sort things out.

and get anxious to get to bat as their turn approaches. That's the small guys, of the minor softball

Children from the. area are whooping it up at Judith Gooderham
Memorial Park these days and managing to beat the heat to a
certain' degree. The August registrations for swimming classes
have been held and the classes will start August 5. The main pool
gets a good work-out morning, noon, and evening and the smaller

Legion Cherubs last 'week to win the Gord Crawford league
