He was born on Nov. .20, 188Q in West Wawanosh Township, the son of the late •George Beadle and- Emma Merritt of England. He was a Member of Knox United Church, Auburn. Hi wife, the former' Catherine May Craig predeceased him in 1941. He is survived by one son, ,Russell, of Burnaby, B.C. and also several nieces and nephews, including Harold Lawson of Clinton, Charles' Robinson of Lucknow, Ross Robinson of Auburn, Mrs. Jean Patterson of Goderich, Mrs. Thomas Haggitt of, Auburn, Mrs: Clifford Brown from lus.,sore-eye- Mr, and Mrs. John Weir and Mrs. Elsie Eustace of London spent the weekend with Mr, and-, Mrs. Duncan MacKay and John. A funeral service was held on Tuesday 'ai the William Stiles Funeral l4ome for John N Thompson of Goderich. The Rev. J. Donald MacDonald of Goderich was in charge of the service with burial in, Ball's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Messers Charles, George, Calvin, Ross, Mason and Roy Robinson. PERSONALS ' °Mr. and Mrs. William Stiles moved last week into Goderich where he will assist his father at the funeral home. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Arthur, Wayne and Philip of Unionville moved into the village where Mr. Arthur will take over the furniture store and the Funeral home. Miss Gail Miller of Toronto is vacationing with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Miller. • • 1 - Colborne Township Cemetery MEMORIAL SERVICE °SUNDAY, AUGUST 3 AT 2:30 P.M.- Obituary MISSUARION BRYOGES Miss Marion Brydges; " a resident of Maitland Manor died at her residence on „Saturday July 26, after a lengthy illness. She was 75. Miss Brydges was born on Febu 21, 1894 at Ashdod, Ontario, a daughter of Herman Brydges and the former Janet 'McGregor. She lived in the Renfrew and ToEonto areas before moving to. Goderich in April 1965. She was an adherent of the United Church. Surviving are three brothers, Carl, Ho l 1 oway, Ontario; Emerson, Renfrew; Clifford, Sault Ste. Marie and a sister Mrs. Richard George, Ajax. The funeral service was held • at Lodge. Funeral Home on Tuesday July 29, at 2 p.m. Rev. Leonard Warr officiated. Interment was in Maitland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Wilson, Bert Finlay, William Westlake and Charles Breckow. • Mrs. Ho R. Johnston, Essex, and Mrs. Harold L. Hickey, Denver, Colorado, and ,Miss Evelyn Clark, ' Ottawa, spent a few days visiting in Goderich with friends and relatives.
