TO TIP QR NOT TO'TIP
"Regarding tips: Does anyone
tip the engine driver of a train,
or the pilot- of an aeroplane?
Does one tip the tired girls in the
drapery business who have
'shown umpteen articles - hats,
shoes, stockings; etc.? Does one
tip •the bank cashier or the Post
Office assistant? Why tip a
waiter? He simple collects . your
order from the kitchen and puts
it on your.plate, The person who
might, perhaps, be due )a tip is
the one who cooked the meal. I
never tip." '
