teaching. In art we made Santa
mobiles, 'Christmas balls and

with plastic. •

This - week grades -1 to 8 have
assembled : in the school
auditorium- from 9:00 to 9:15
for opening, exercises and.tosi.ng

• On Tuesday, December 17,
:after our nitrating carol. sing, -
Mrs." Scott from the Children's
Aid Society came to the school
to receive the "White Gifts" we
had gathered. These gifts of
food;, donated by the children of
our school, were presented to
Mrs. Scott by Brent Baer and
Dianne'Stothers.
On Thursday , "The Village
Trio" -including Marj Tayler
(guitar) Ernie Pfrilnrner (guitar
and ' drum) . and Brent Baer
(piano) entertained us after our
carol sing with some popular
Christmas tunes.

James Rean; 264 Huron road, recently was reunited 'with his
sister whom, he had not seen- for 4 yeas. Mrs. Elsie Williams
arrived in Goderich shortly before Christmas from her home in
Pliniibuth, England. Mr, Rean told the Signal -Star he had tried -to
persuade his sister.. to stay for a year ",..but shehas to leave for
home." "1 wanted to see some snow," she .said: "We don't see
much of it back home." The weatherman certainly obliged. Since
Mrs. Williams arrived there has been more snow inwthe-area than
